Peugeot only launched the 3008 lineup of crossover SUVs in 2016. Now, only a year later, the automaker is set to add two trims in the new lineup. The new models are the top-of-the-range 300 GT and a GT Line. The GT Line is a model which brides the gap in between the standard 3008 models and the GT. This review focuses on the range topping 2017 Peugeot 3008 GT.

2017 Peugeot 3008 GT Exterior

2017 Peugeot 3008 GT - Like any other GT models, the 2017 Peugeot 3008 GT comes with a number of exterior upgrades that make it appear much more sophisticated and sportier in comparison to its siblings. At the front, the 3008 GT attributes a revised bumper which is much more prominent. The bumper combines with the model’s wider wheel arches to provide the model a wider and much more aggressive look. The grille has distinctive chrome trim while the headlights feature sequential scrolling LED signals.

On the sides, the GT features chrome mirror caps and revised aluminum roof rails. Unlike the regular models which feature 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, the 300GT rides on 19-inch, two-tone alloy wheels.

The rear attributes chrome exhaust tips. A “GT” badge is fitted on the trunk lid to announce its leading dog status to whoever cares to look.

For some extra cash, you can go for the Coupe Franche paint work to stand out from other models. This paint job features an asymmetrical 2-tone finish, where the rear fenders, C-pillars, tailgate and rear doors are painted black while the rest of the body is painted in a option among 3 contrasting colors.

2017 Peugeot 3008 GT - The cabin has also been revised to suit its top-of-the-range status. The automaker has taken the standard 3008 cabin and added an array of luxury attributes to create it much more luxurious and comfy. The revisions begin with the dash where the automaker has added a genuine aged-oak trim. This oak trim extends to the upper door panels.
